‘Mrs Bun the Baker’ is a qualified food technology teacher providing inspirational fun food classes from 2 year olds to adults. Over 20 years teaching experience, insured with CRB check, Level 2 Health Safety and Hygiene, First Aid trained.
Mrs Bun The Baker Classes
TODDLERS
Make, Bake and Take home your lunch/tea each week with Mrs Bun the Baker’s termly cooking classes. From the age of two toddlers can come and have Hands on Fun in the kitchen, creating goodies, tasting new foods, learning numbers, colours, shapes, developing fine motor skills, but most of all having fun and learning through play. Classes are small in size; with the toddlers making and Mrs Bun doing the baking. The toddlers take the fun away with them and gain confidence; starting to help in the kitchen at home, some of the fussiest eaters start to enjoy a wider range of foods. They are supported by a parent, family member or guardian at all Mrs Bun the Baker® toddler classes.
6 TO 14+ CHILDREN’S COOKERY CLASSES
Older Buns can also join Mrs Bun the Baker® Cookery School for Hands on, Fun cooking classes. Once children are 6, they can be left unattended in the Mrs Bun the Baker® kitchen and you can enjoy the bakes when you pick them up. There are termly classes for those aged 6+, 11+ and 14+ which are all a hour. They learn skills from pastry, bread, sauces, simple suppers and themed bakes throughout the year. All recipes are provided at the end of the classes so they can make their favourites again and again! Those who are completing their DoE award can use Mrs Bun the Baker® classes for the Skills section on Bronze, Silver and Gold.
