When the boys went back to school/pre school their Dad and I thought we’d treat ourselves to a well deserved quiet brunch. We’d planned for Tilly to nap but she didn’t want to miss out on the fun!
We decided to pop out to Haddenham Garden centre and their restaurant, The Gardeners Retreat is such a lovely spot. They absolutely delivered on a yummy brunch and it’s a really nice setting to sit and relax. The staff were also so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, they were so kind and welcoming.
They offer a range of hot food as well as stunning homemade cakes. We went for the mini breakfast which was delicious. It was so nice to have a cooked breakfast but not feel super sluggish after it, it was the perfect size! Although I may have taken a mars bar slice home with me for later.
They also offer brunch, lunch, Sunday roasts and afternoon tea! Their food is all really reasonably priced and they offer a really varied menu.
The cafe is sat inside the main garden centre which is lovely for a little look round (they had the cutest autumn and Halloween decorations!). They also have a farm shop, lots of gifts, a pet shop and The Works. So there’s plenty to find if you need to pick up a gift .
I’m partial to a garden centre and love a good cuppa so this is my type of morning, but this may just be my new favourite brunch spot!
