The Theatre, Chipping Norton, run weekly youth musical theatre classes on Mondays and Thursdays. Monday sessions are for ages 5+ and Thursday sessions for 7+
YOUTH MUSICAL THEATRE 5+
14th January – 25th March (excluding 18th February)
Mondays, 4pm – 5pm
Fun-filled classes of singing, dancing and drama for 5+ year-olds. These weekly sessions, led by Lindsey Henderson, are a wonderful way for students to learn new skills and build confidence, inspiring plenty of creativity along the way. Students will be involved in learning a variety of songs and dances, as well as taking part in storytelling and creative play.
We know that our sessions can be so good for people and we wouldn’t like to think that someone who very much wants to participate is prevented from doing so because of financial constraints. We therefore encourage anyone who would like to discuss help with payments to contact the Take Part staff.
YOUTH MUSICAL THEATRE 7+
Thursdays 4pm – 5.30pm
17th January – 28th March (excluding 21st February)
These weekly sessions concentrate on singing and dancing, offering young people a taste of musical theatre and a chance to work as a member of an ensemble. Participants work with a choreographer, voice tutor and musical director who introduce them to a wide variety of songs and dance styles. This class is suitable for 7+ year olds.
